My name is Grant Larson. I am a filmmaker and cinematographer from Missoula, Montana.

I’ve worked across documentary, commercial, and experimental film, often drawn to characters driven by passion and environment. My work has taken me from Montana to Cape Town, New York, and Minneapolis, where I have built independent projects outside traditional production.

I’m an FAA Part 107-licensed drone operator, a Sony Cinema Line camera operator, and a wilderness First Responder. I have over 10 years of post-production experience using the Adobe Suite and DaVinci Resolve. I also spent multiple seasons working in festival operations at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival.

My work takes an experimental and cinematic approach to nonfiction—blending observational storytelling shaped by unique individuals and natural environments.
